Furneaux Distillery 'Peated Second Fill Sherry Finish' Various Size Samples Fortified Wine Cask their dung fertilises the farmThis flinders island peated release was matured for just under 3 years in 5 x 20l second fill casks, then finished for 8 months in a pedro ximenez sherry cask. it has the lighter, more nuanced body of a second fill maturation, but the sherry cask influence in finishing gives this whisky a lovely juiciness. expect warm apricot sponge, bright orange, and a lingering sweet vanilla cream palate.
