This is the soft skin of the kozo plant, which protect the fiber (AOS 5) while it is being soaked in water until it is ready to be spun or pound into pulp to become paper. It is already soft unlike the kozo fiber, which requires a lengthy soaking. I imagine it can be transformed into many beautiful things. Please note that the colors
