and some very nicely tied Catskill style dry flies

Also the top edges of the foot show signs of a file

There is some all over wear from honest fishing use but would still be a great fishing rod for years to come

Near mint condition with brassing to the inner guides of one tip only. The grip is clean. Medium fast action. This rod has the hallmarks of the Maxwell period with the later style screwlock and the very slim cigar grip. Impregnated cane done in a three up node pattern. The Leonard step ferrules have 100% of the pewter oxidation. The main wraps are
