The original St George reels were produced in Alnwick from 1911 until 1983

There is a clear wrap on cracked node and seam halfway up on the mid-section

I realize there is a lot of ego involved with the owning and fishing of bamboo

and a few very minor nicks to the frame edges being the only real signs of use that I could find

one that's ready to head straight up to the Grand Cascapedia
