A fun and quirky piece of landscape art inspired by my love of blossom trees and particularly the colour pink

It spies a dry spot under a tree where another sheep has the good sense to sit and stay dry

I distinctly remember driving along under a night sky and being aware of the biggest moon I have ever seen

I knew in that moment I just had to paint it one day

I photographed this sky whilst on my honeymoon

It was a dreary day but the sky was nevertheless dramatic as the pale sun set and the clouds seemed to form in layers of differing patterns and depths. I thought how beautiful it would look, brought to life with colour. This was my first big skies piece and only the second time I had really painted with soft pastel and I fell in love with it.
